Experience Louisiana’s rich and colorful history through the Check Out Louisiana program! Use your library card to unlock the great historical, cultural, and educational resources of Louisiana’s museums.

Our state's museums bring the people, places and events that make up our distinctive history to life. Each venue offers vast informational resources and its own unique story. Through Check Out Louisiana, library card holders can receive an e-pass to visit these state treasures at no cost!

To reserve your e-pass:

  1. Click the e-pass reservation link above and log in with your library card barcode number, and PIN or password.

  2. Browse the available offers by date or venue.

  3. Click on "Show first available offer" then "Reserve a different date" to see all available dates for each attraction.

  4. Once you've selected a suitable date, confirm your reservation details.

  5. Don’t forget to print your pass before your visit!

 


Current libraries participating in the program include those in Iberville, Livingston, Rapides, and Tangipahoa parishes, and the State Library of Louisiana, with more coming online soon.
