Meeting Rooms

The State Library of Louisiana provides meeting room space for library events, meetings and programs sponsored by other government agencies as well as private and non-profit entities. Specifications and standard rates are indicated below. Discounted rates are available for governmental agencies. All entities using State Library meeting space must agree to the meeting room policy.

Seminar Center     Location: First floor Classroom setup with tables and chairs Accommodates 56 participants Auditorium setup without tables Maximum 100 participants $500 full day $300 half day

Serials Room    Location: First floor Classroom setup with tables and chairs Accommodates 45 participants $500 full day $300 half day

Capitol View Room     Location: Fifth floor U-shape setup with tables and chairs Accommodates 30 participants $500 full day $300 half day

Room 221    Location: Second floor Board room only Accommodates 15 participants $200 full day $125 half day

Spanish Town Room    Location: First Floor Board room only Accommodates eight participants $125 full day $75 half day

Mississippi River Room    Location: First floor Board room only Accommodates eight participants $125 fuill day $75 half day
